Daniel Brands wins first tournament

FORMAXX TennisBase-pro Daniel BRANDS won his first ATP-Challenger. In the 30`000 EUR Tournament in Timisoara (Romania) the 21 years old defeated the Spaniard Daniel Munoz-de La Nava (26 current ATP-Ranking No.170) 6:4, 7:6 (0).
With this victory Daniel reached position 183 in ATP-Ranking (improvement of 35 places) – up to now this is his best ATP-placement.
After his success Daniel contentedly said “ It’s a fantastic feeling to win a Challenger for the first time. I think this is an important step to belong to the top 100 in future time.”

Next week Daniel is going to play the ATP-Challenger in Istanbul (US$ 100`00 +H), after this he`s going to New York (qualification US Open).
