Junior's gold medal for Viky

At the Junior World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen Viktoria Rebensburg won the first gold medal for the German junior team.

In the Giant Slalom, Viky won in front of Tina Weirather from Liechtenstein and the Austrian Karin Hackl. In the first run Vicky already had the fastest time and with that a good basic for her second Junior World Champion-title, after getting gold in Super-G last year.
In 2008, she had won a complete medal set, because of silver in Giant Slalom and bronze in Downhill. “I’m so happy about this title now and hopefully I will convince with best performances in Garmisch in the next few days. I’m fit for more”, said Viky.
