Meredith's triumph in Las Vegas

Defending champion Meredith MICHAELS-BEERBAUM won her third Rolex FEI World Cup Jumping title with consummate ease at the Thomas & Mark Center in Las Vegas.

After 2005 and 2008 the 39-year-old secured her third overall world cup title with a perfect run and without any dropping fences. For her 16-year-old gelding Shutterfly however limits don't seem to exist. “That was the most perfect ride I’ve ever had in my life”, Meredith was absolutely delighted.

Meredith stayed at each of the 3 final jumping’s without any mistakes. – This could only be achieved by three riders before. Therefore, also runner-up McLain Ward (USA) accredited: “Meredith and Shutterfly are the best couple of show jumping at all.”
