Huber defends EM-title

With a terrific final minimum time, Anja HUBER defended her title as European Champion in skeleton.

At the Olympic course in Cesana (ITA) the 24 years old girl only placed 5th after the first run. In the second heat, Anja started a sensational race to catch up, defeating the Russian Swetlana Trunowa and team colleague Kerstin Jürgens with 7/100 seconds.
In this race, which was the 5th world cup in this season at the same time, Anja missed her first world cup title only with 3/100 seconds. It was Katie Uhlaender who barly defeated Anja.

Moreover, Anja presents a new commercial partner: The car dealership “Trautner” in Ottensoos / Lauf, which is one of the biggest SUBARU & Sang Yong traders in Germany and partner of the german bob and luge federation as well, supports Anja until the end of the season.
St. Moritz will be the first world cup where the recent European Champion will present the logo of “Trautner” on her helmet during the races.
